Bonell springs

Their design features a narrower central section compared to the upper and lower parts, with the springs connected in a series. One of the key characteristics of bonnell springs is their progressive spring rate, which provides firmer support. They are suitable for heavier people (over 100 kilograms) as a mattress with such a spring is firmer than a mattress with other pocket springs. When ordering Bonell springs in series, the sheet size can be customized to meet the customer's specific requirements.

Pocket springs

Pocket (pocket) mattresses use coil springs of the same diameter. They respond individually to pressure, so the user feels comfortable as the mattress adapts to the shape of the body. It is flexible and adapts very well to our sleeping position.

Corrugated springs

Corrugated springs are known for their simple yet effective design, often serving as a key support layer in seating. Most commonly, this type of spring is manufactured from wire with a diameter of 3-5 millimetres - they are long and their shape resembles that of a sine wave. Typically, corrugated springs are made of steel wire, which provides durability and resistance to deformation, ensuring that the seat remains stable over time. When paired with foam, corrugated springs help prevent sagging, enhancing both comfort and longevity. Corrugated springs are often combined with HR foam, which is known for its increased resilience. This combination creates a balanced level of support, offering medium firmness for comfortable rest and relaxation. Corrugated spring types: BETA type -wire from 2.8 - 4.0 mm -distance between wavelets 25 mm -height of corrugated spring 48 mm GAMMA type -wire from 2.8 - 4.0 mm -distance between waves 51 mm -height of corrugated spring 76 mm

We focus on research and development

Research and Development Department is a team of technologists and a diagnostic infrastructure, which includes a state-of-the-art laboratory for analysing raw materials and finished products and a set of equipment for physical and mechanical testing of foams. Every day, TOMPOL Kępno performs the widest possible range of analyses for product development, also examining them from the point of view of user safety. Using chromatographs, we monitor emissions of hazardous substances in our components and final products.

Our engineers continuously improve our products and explore new applications. We collaborate with scientific institutions, with a growing list of innovative projects. Recognizing the challenges of a rapidly changing world, we embed sustainable development policies into our strategic objectives.
